Meet Dr. Lisa Alvetro

Dr. Lisa Alvetro, Orthodontist

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Lisa Alvetro is passionate about transforming smiles and lives through orthodontics. A faculty member at Case Western Reserve University since 2005, Dr. Alvetro combines her deep expertise with a compassionate approach to patient care. She thrives on building connections with patients and being part of their journey to a confident new smile.

Recognized by her peers as a leader in orthodontic technology, Dr. Alvetro is frequently invited to teach and mentor orthodontists around the globe. She also collaborates with leading companies as an advisor and tester, contributing to the development of innovative techniques and technologies that advance the field of orthodontics.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Alvetro treasures time with her family. She has three grown children: Katie, who works in the non-profit sector in Washington, D.C.; David, a student at Ohio State University aspiring to a career in dentistry; and Mikey, currently in dental school at Case Western University. Dr. Alvetro’s “German daughter,” Sonja, who became part of the family as an exchange student, now resides in Hamilton, Ohio, with her husband and son..
